Q: What makes Ocean View Lodge unique?
A: Ocean View Lodge is a family-owned holiday home sited at the end of a cul-de-sac with parking for 2 cars whilst enjoying stunning ocean views. We provide a comfortable and relaxing space for families to enjoy. We also have a travel cot*, highchair, buggy and bed guard available at no extra charge (*bedding not provided).
In line with Havens site policy, we are unable to accept bookings where:

the lead guest is under 21;

all adult groups including Hen or Stag parties;

anyone else who might not have the family-focused value of Haven in mind.
We reserve the right to ask you to leave the lodge if you or any of your party have broken these rules, with no refund payable.

Q: Can I bring my dog to Ocean View Retreat Lodge?

A: Unfortunately we do not accept any pets in our lodge (Registered Assistance dogs are permitted). If you are found with a dog in the lodge you will be asked to leave immediately no refunds will be issued and the care and respect deposit will be forfeited.

Q: How can I book Ocean View Retreat Lodge?
A: Booking can be done via our contact form or by requesting a booking form to be sent via email. We require a £50 deposit to confirm your dates. We have also included a £100 care and respect deposit on all bookings. This is for loss or damage to the lodge during your stay and for any damage to belongings inside, including the decking area and seating area. (This will be refunded within 2 days of stay, subject to satisfactory check-out).
Loss of keys will be charged at £25.
We can also offer payment plans, subject to the £50 deposit being received by us. All balances are to be paid no less than 8 weeks before arrival. A reminder will be sent before the final payment is due, if after the 8 weeks before arrival the balance remains unpaid then your holiday will be cancelled and no refunds will be paid.
INSURANCE: We recommend you consider personal holiday insurance for your own protection and for injury/cancellation purposes.
NB. No bookings are confirmed until the deposit has been marked as received by ourselves.

Q: What time is Check-In?
A: We offer a 4 pm Check-in to ensure that we have adequate time to clean the lodge to the highest standard for you. We ask that you depart by 10am to help us achieve our high standards of cleanliness. (If the lodge is ready before 4 pm we will text and email to inform you so please ensure we hold valid contact details.

Q: Are Play Passes included?
A: No, these are available to purchase separately from Haven. We will provide a link when we confirm the deposit receipt, including all the information required for arrival.

Q: Does Ocean View Lodge offer any discounts or promotions?
A: Yes, we may offer promotions for last-minute getaways throughout the year. Please check our website, and our Facebook page or contact us directly for more information on current offers.

Q: What is the cancellation policy for Ocean View Lodge?
A: Our cancellation policy varies depending on the notice period received:

Up to 7 days before commencement - 0% of holiday cost will be refunded.

7 - 21 days before - 50% will be refunded minus the £75 rebooking fee(If holiday dates are subsequently relet then a full refund may be permitted)
21 days+ - Full refund minus £75 relisting fee (If holiday dates are subsequently rebooked then we will retain the £75 relisting fee only)
Refunds due to Jury Service and bereavement will be discussed on an individual basis. Don't hesitate to get in touch with us should the need arise..
